President's Message

Dear Friends:

These are very complicated and confusing times we live in. Despite all that we have available to us in our sophisticatedly modern and civilized world, millions of people around the globe desperately struggle to survive, suffering from a basic lack of necessities such as food, medicine and the primary human right to exist and live with respect and decency. We are fortunate indeed to live in our society of abundance. Too often we take our freedom and plentifulness for granted.

It is so hurtful to think of the people I have seen wasting away, dying of hunger, starvation and diseases in many of the forgotten and desolate areas around the world, particularly the border regions in Northeast Asia. I know how very difficult it is to live without basic human essentials such as food, as I grew up experiencing extreme hardships during my childhood. It moves me to a point of tears to witness people going through such unthinkable suffering and adversity, extreme malnutrition, prolonged starvation and death from common diseases, without the capability to help themselves due to suppression from terrorizing and oppressive governments.

What a blessing it is to be a born again Christian. I am motivated to save not only physical lives but spiritual lives as well. My Christian faith empowers me to go to as many places as possible to serve with love and kindness, to provide medical care and humanitarian necessities. Most importantly, I pray for peoples' souls and offer the hope of the Gospel, which is our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so fortunate to have my colleagues, brothers and sisters in Christ, even my own children coming together to carry on this world mission. May hunger, starvation, malnutrition and people desperately fighting to exist, be a thing of the past.
Together, we can make this world a better place. Won't you come and join us?
